iDMT Summer School

iDMT Centre of Excellence is offering its first summer school in Digital Technologies for Chemical R&D. The summer school will be in person, limited to 20 participants, and held in Cambridge (UK) on September 23-27. 

 

The school is aimed at industrial researchers interested in latest developments in AI for chemistry R&D and novel technologies for chemistry R&D. The school will cover the following topics and participants may chose specific practical sessions that will be run in parallel:

Cost (including all tuition materials, refreshments and a dinner at a University College):

  • Participants from Academia: £350.00

  • Participants from Industry: £1500.00

Payment by credit card only.

Details for Participants:

Summer School will start 10:30 am on Monday 23rd of September (registration and refreshments from 10:00)

Summer School will finish after lunch (2 pm) on Friday 27th. 

On Monday please come to Reception of Chemistry and we'll take you to the lecture room (Todd Hamied). Lab sessions will be in the iDMT laboratories in the same building. Please bring your own safety glasses if you use prescription specs and have them. Otherwise we'll provide all necessary PPE. 

We will be splitting the group into parallel sessions to ensure lab sessions are in small groups. 

There will be tea/coffee/water available throughout the week. All lunches are provided for participants. We are inviting all participants to a college dinner on Tuesday (24 Sep). There will be open bar for networking and continuing discussions after sessions every day (apart from Tuesday).
